How Madklar’s grocery price estimates work

Price estimates are a Premium feature that helps you compare your planned basket across supported Danish grocery stores before you shop.

What is compared?

Madklar starts with the shopping list generated from the week’s selected dinner and packed-lunch recipes. Repeated ingredients are consolidated, and items you have recorded at home can be removed from what you still need to buy.

It then shows an estimated basket total for each store that can be compared. This helps you see where your particular plan may cost less, instead of only comparing a few individual offers.

How current are the estimates?

The underlying product estimates are refreshed daily. They are not real-time shelf prices, and the final total can vary because of availability, offers, pack sizes, and local changes in a store.

Use the comparison as practical guidance, not as a guarantee of the exact checkout price or a fixed budget promise.

Where is the feature available?

Price estimates are available in Denmark today. More regions are planned.
